A New Year
So much has occurred over the last 5 years… first was buying a home in New Orleans, next was moving my youngest son here as his situation up north was intolerable. Not long afterwards in April, my sister Virginia discovered she had 4th stage ovarian cancer… she passed away on June 23, 2020. At first I was feeling guilty that I stayed up late and wasn’t getting up at my usual 9 a.m. Either I was hanging out with my son or I was just either watching the latest posts on YouTube, Facebook, and even Twitter… thinking to myself, “Oh gawds, please! someone to have an original thought and not be someone’s pocket… I don’t think such a thing exists. These days I look beyond NPR or AP as everyone has their twist on the news. All is open to interpretation....
